# Falah Cast — Official Podcast Feed & Syndication Manual

|
Public podcast feed + artwork for **Falah Cast** ([iqra.falahos.my/tag/falah-cast/](https://iqra.falahos.my/tag/falah-cast/)).

## 1. Live Feed URLs

## 2. Platform Submission Guide
|
|
|
|
### A. YouTube Podcasts (RSS Ingestion)
|
|
1. Navigate to **YouTube Studio** (`studio.youtube.com`).
|
|
2. Click **Create** (top right) → **New Podcast** → Select **Submit RSS Feed**.
|
|
3. Paste the raw podcast feed URL:
|
|

|
4. Verify email ownership via the verification code sent to `editor@iqra.falahos.my`.
|
|
5. YouTube will automatically ingest all 42 episodes, match the audio from `<enclosure type="audio/mpeg"/>`, and create individual video episodes with the episode thumbnail art.
|
|
|
|
### B. Apple Podcasts Connect
|
|
1. Sign in to **Apple Podcasts Connect** (`podcastsconnect.apple.com`).
|
|
2. Click **+** (Add Show) → **Add a show with an RSS feed**.
|
|
3. Enter the URL:
|
|

4. Review show details: Category is mapped to `Society & Culture > Philosophy` and `Education`.
|
|
5. Click **Submit for Review**.
|
|
|
|
### C. Spotify for Podcasters
|
|
1. Sign in to **Spotify for Podcasters** (`podcasters.spotify.com`).
|
|
2. Click **Claim Show** or **Add a new show**.
|
|
3. Paste the RSS feed link and confirm ownership.
|
|
|
|

|
|
|
## 3. Feed Architecture & Compliance Specifications
|
|
|
|
* **Specification:** RSS 2.0 with `xmlns:itunes` and `xmlns:podcast`.
|
|
* **Audio Enclosure:** Every `<item>` MUST contain an `<enclosure>` tag with:
|
|
- `url`: Direct accessible MP3 URL (e.g. `https://iqra.falahos.my/content/media/2026/10/...mp3`).
|
|
- `length`: File byte length.
|
|
- `type`: `audio/mpeg` (mandatory for YouTube and Apple).
|
|
* **Artwork Requirements:**
|
|
- Standard iTunes Cover Art: Minimum 1400x1400px up to 3000x3000px, RGB, JPEG or PNG.
|
|
* **Episode Metadata:**
|
|
- `<itunes:duration>` (Seconds or HH:MM:SS)
|
|
- `<itunes:explicit>`: `false`
|
|
- `<guid isPermaLink="false">` unique ID per episode.
|
|
|
|

## 4. Regenerating the RSS Feed
|
|
|
|
To regenerate the podcast feed when new episodes are published on Ghost:
|
|

Or execute the automated Gitea webhook / cron pipeline.
